ESMMC announce:Asia Pacific Civil electromagnetic shielding clothing sampling assessment( 2014)
08/01/2015

      As leader in electromagnetic shielding materials authoritative institutions, ESMMC has collected and centralized evaluation 300 brands electromagnetic radiation shielding products of Asia Pacific in early 2015, ,in order to grasp the current developments around the electromagnetic shielding clothing. Tested 300 cases of clothing producing countries ,involved in the United States, Europe, Asia and other places, and focus on the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Japan and other Asia-Pacific countries and regional sales.

      Samples from market purchases with more equitable, the evaluations have be done by Nijmegen Laboratory, Lincoln Laboratory of the MIT and IBS in France. "The top 10 of 2013 Annual Asia-Pacific regional civil electromagnetic shielding clothing" appeared.

     Deterioration of electromagnetic radiation environment, people exacerbates to radiation safety concerns. Electromagnetic shielding clothing selling in Asia Pacific is the good evidence.IN Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other places, during pregnancy, women often wear electromagnetic shielding clothing in order to protecting pregnancy safety. Recently, ESMMC has collected and centralized evaluation 300 brands electromagnetic radiation shielding products of Asia Pacific in early 2014, ,in order to grasp the current developments around the electromagnetic shielding clothing. "The top 10 of 2013 Annual Asia-Pacific regional civil electromagnetic shielding clothing" appeared.LaboratoryNijmegen Laboratory, Lincoln Laboratory of MIT , IBS of FrenchMethods Body simulation, scenario simulation, FDTD (Finite-Difference Time-Domain Method) Difference Time Domain, fiber physical & chemical indicators analysis.Key to EvaluationShielding Performance of (SP), Comfort Performance (CP), Durable Performance (DP), Textile Technology (TT) and Additional Valuable (AV).
i) SP: different wavelengths and different frequencies of electromagnetic waves shielding, electromagnetic shielding radiation suits core values embodied by the human body in a simulation environment simulation measured, protective clothing is to investigate electromagnetic shielding fabric core information .
ii) CP: When tested electromagnetic shielding protective clothing fabrics human contact , body acceptance , by ingredients , fabric molecules , feel a sense of other aspects of muscle measured ;
iii) DP: study electromagnetic shielding performance of protective clothing fabrics in antioxidant activity, repeated washing , and other aspects of daily care . Through the harsh environment in the laboratory simulation , strong oxidizing environment simulation, malicious damage under simulated conditions rub draw ;
iv) TT: examine the degree of difficulty in the existing processing conditions contained in the composition of different fabrics , reflecting changes electromagnetic shielding protective clothing production technology is advanced manifestation , but also to measure an important indicator of the level of the finished product and the cost basis .
V) AV: Consider electromagnetic shielding protective clothing fabrics , in addition to shielding performance, which also contains an auxiliary value on human ingredients, such as green and healthy , there are environmental and other auxiliary functions , this will be reflected in the individual .Samplemore than 300 civilian electromagnetic shielding protective clothing in Asia-Pacific region (including the clothing for pregnant women)ProcessThe first step: simulationThe evaluation Used simulated human body made of natural silica, simulated human skin, placed 179 sensitive sensors in 7 key parts of body to capture different situations .naked or wear protective clothing electromagnetic shielding, electromagnetic radiation will be changed while giving high and low frequency non-ionizing irradiation. 179 sensing points will recorded and tested the various brands of protective clothing shielding performance. (This section is completed by the Nijmegen lab)

Step Two: Analysis

By data of 179 human sensing points candrawn the SP, the sample through the Blind Test, Destructive Test, ComponentExtraction, etc, can be measured the brand's SP,  CP, DP, TT and AV. (This part completed by the Lincoln Laboratory of MIT and IBS)
